Box Lunch The tour starts early in the morning
with the pickup from your hotel in Cusco. We
head to Ollantaytambo, a 2-hour journey. At the
station, we complete the check-in with our
original documents and then board our Tourist
Train to the town of Aguas Calientes. Along the
way, we'll enjoy wonderful views of valleys and
mountains, with the Vilcanota River as our
companion. Upon arrival, our staff will welcome
you and provide the children with their explorer
kit, which includes 1 hat, 1 T-shirt, 1 magnifying
glass, and 1 map. We then head to the
Consettur Bus station, where a short bus ride
takes us to the Machu Picchu archaeological
complex, one of the New Seven Wonders of the
Modern World.
Once we reach the sanctuary, our two guides
will be waiting for us to begin our adventure. As
we explore the complex, you can admire the
impressive architecture, while our certified
guides share interesting theories about the
history and significance of Machu Picchu for the
Incas. On the other hand, our young explorers
will have a completely different, dynamic, and
educational guided experience, immersing them
in the Andean world and making their visit a
unique and enjoyable experience.
The magnificent views and the magic of the
place are unparalleled. After three hours of
exploring, you'll have free time to rest and
absorb the energy of this magnificent place. At
the scheduled time, we return to the town of
Aguas Calientes to enjoy a delicious 3-course
executive lunch. Finally, we take the return
tourist train to Ollantaytambo, where our
transportation will be waiting to take you back
to your hotel in Cusco.
